Visit Of Gaa President
On 24th Of June Gaa President Liam O`Neill came to visit our school and to unveil a plaque to commemorate 30 years of our school. Liam spoke to the children on the importance of sport and being active. He also spoke of the huge importance of the Gaa in rural communities such as Coolderry. He also remarked how the community spirit in Coolderry reminded him of his own upbringing in rural county Laois.
The children sang the Offaly Rover and the children put on a demonstration of hurling and camogie in his honour.
